Brent Anderson is a respected artist forhis past work on KA-ZAR, POWER PACK, X-MEN, and the acclaimed X-MEN: GODLOVES, MAN KILLS Graphic Novel, as well as his award-winning work on KURTBUSIEK'S ASTRO CITY for Image/Homage Comics.  Brent's pin-up withAlex Ross showcases the ASTRO CITY heroine, "Winged Victory", who promotesfemale self-empowerment and operates a chain of women's self-defense schools.

Norm Breyfogle is the creator of METAPHYSIQUEand has had lengthy runs as artist on PRIME for Malibu, and on BATMAN andANARKY for DC Comics.  Norm is currently pencilling THE SPECTRE forDC.  Check out Norm's website at http://www.normbreyfogle.com.

D. DeAngelo is a freelance writer/artistand self-publisher, originally from Boston and currently living in Florida. DeAngelo majored in art at Stetson University, creating the character "CaptainStetson" (which later became the basis for CAPTAIN AWARENESS) as a weeklycomic strip and one-shot comic book.  In addition to various commercialart assignments, such as advertisements and T-shirts, DeAngelo's work hasappeared in G-FAN (a fanzine devotedto Godzilla), WIZARD (having been a winner in several  of their artcontests), and Best Comics' BATTLEGROUND EARTH.  DeAngelo has workedon CAPTAIN GEO & GIA--a book for Florida schools to promote environmentalawareness--and has inked covers for AncientStudios' TRAGIC HEROES.  DeAngelo is also vice-president of CartoonistsAcross America & The World, an organization which promotes literacy& the arts through the use of cartoons, and runs their Florida office.

Colleen Doran continues her long-runningself-published series, A DISTANTSOIL, through Image Comics.  Colleen's WONDER WOMAN: THE ONCEAND FUTURE STORY book for DC with Trina Robbins focuses on domestic violence.

Dick Giordano is a true legend and formerExecutive Editor of both Charlton and DC Comics, best known for past workon BATMAN, POWER OF SHAZAM!, SUPERMAN, and WONDER WOMAN.

Phil Jimenez is an outspoken participantin the battle against AIDS, as well as one of the fastest-rising starsin the industry, having worked on TEEN TITANS, TEMPEST, THE INVISIBLES,and JLA VS. TITANS.  Phil is currently both writing and drawing WONDERWOMAN for DC Comics.

Dan Jurgens recently finished a memorablerun as writer of SUPERMAN and had a part in the Man of Steel's death, rebirth,wedding, and new costume & powers.  Dan has previously workedon WARLORD, BOOSTER GOLD, FLASH GORDON, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA, ZEROHOUR, DC VS. MARVEL, SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN, TEEN TITANS, CAPTAIN AMERICA,TOMB RAIDER, and TEEN TITANS.  Dan currently writes THOR for MarvelComics.

Paul Mellette is an up-and-coming new writer,having worked on HOLY KNIGHT and WISHMASTER for Pocket Change Comics, andpublished BATTLEGROUND EARTH through Best Comics.

Jimmy Palmiotti has inked numerous titlesand is best known for a longtime partnership with artist Joe Quesada asco-founder of Event Comics and co-creator of Event's fire fighting super-heroASH.  Jimmy & Joe are also in charge of the Marvel Knights lineof comics.

George Perez is one of the most popular writersand artists in the industry.  George has worked on virtually everymajor character, including notable runs on AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR, JUSTICELEAGUE OF AMERICA, TEEN TITANS,  WONDER WOMAN, SILVER SURFER, andULTRAFORCE.  George currently works for CrossGen Comics.  Checkout George's website at http://www.georgeperez.com.

Gordon Purcell has worked on comic booksbased on such series as STAR TREK, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, GODZILLA,X-FILES, and LOST IN SPACE.

Trina Robbins has been an active supporterof women in comic books. In 1970, she put together the first all-womancomic book ever.  In 1972, she was a founding member of the "Wimmen'sComix Collective", which produced the long-running anthology, WIMMEN'SCOMIX.  In 1988, she co-edited STRIP-AIDS USA, an AIDS benefit comicbook which made over $16,000 for the Shanti Project, and in 1990, she editedand co-published CHOICES, a pro-choice benefit comic book for the NationalOrganization for Women.  Her two award-winning books on comics froma woman's perspective are A CENTURY OF WOMEN CARTOONISTS (1993), a historyof women who drew comics since 1896, and THE GREAT WOMEN SUPER-HEROES,a history of superheroines.  Trina's WONDER WOMAN: THE ONCE AND FUTURESTORY book for DC with Colleen Doran focuses on domestic violence. Check out Trina's website at http://www.trinarobbins.com.
